BALTIMORE - Baltimore Gas and Electronic is apologizing to its Canton customers for accidentally release a robo-call at midnight.
"BGE apologizes to any customers who may have been inconvenienced by automated calls on Tuesday evening,” the utility said in a statement.
The statement continued:
“Some of these calls were sent later than intended because of a programming error. This error has been fixed, and we will continue to let our customers know when they can expect installers to be in their neighborhood installing smart meters. Customers should also know that installers from BGE and our authorized partners will have BGE identification.”
