Sip and Stroll

What: Sip, stroll and learn at the Zoo’s newest adults-only education event! You’ll enjoy wine or beer while a senior member of our education department leads you on on an exploration of the Lyn P. Meyerhoff Maryland Wilderness Areas in search of native birds, plants and pollinating insects. Limited spaces are available for this intimate educational event. Participants must be 21 or older.

42nd Annual White Marlin Open

What: It's billed as being as exciting for spectators as it is for anglers. All fish must be weighed on the official scale at Harbour Island, (14th Street and the Bay), and the weigh-ins are held there each day of the tournament from 4:00 to 9:15 PM and are open to the public free of charge. Organizers say as the week goes on, the suspense builds, as potential lottery sized fortunes change hands with a tip of the scale. It’s a terrific way to spend a few exciting hours during your Ocean City vacation.
