The Women's Exchange "Made in Maryland" Spring Shop

What:  The mission of the pop up is to promote, support, and celebrate Maryland artists and craftspeople with a in-state only retail venue.

Everyone's a Kid Day at the Zoo

What: On the first Tuesday of the month March through November, all ticket prices are the at the child admission rate of $13 a person; $5 off adult admission.

Camel rides at the Zoo

What: Two Dromedary camels have arrived at the Maryland Zoo for visitors to ride on.

When: Daily 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., May 7-Labor Day

Charm City Wine Run 5K

What: Calling all runners and winos! The race will start and end in Baltimore's Inner Harbor. The race is followed by a wine and food festival offering more than 15 wines.

Herndon Monument Climb

What: Members of the Naval Academy's freshman class will climb the 21-foot obelisk in order to retrieve a white plebe "dixie cup" hat on top of the monument and replace it with an upperclassman's hat.

Blue Angels performance

What: The U.S. Navy's Flight Demonstration Squadron's Blue Angels will perform a variety of high-speed maneuvers over the Severn River.

Naval Academy commissioning

What: Graduation and commissioning ceremony for the class of 2016. The speaker will be Secretary of Defense Ashton B. Carter. Each graduate will be commissioned as an ensign in the U.S. Navy or as a 2nd lieutenant in the U.S. Marine Corps. 

When: 10 a.m. May 27
