What: See the annual tree lighting plus Santa's workshop. Plus several restaurants and boutiques are offering sales and specials.

What: Tree lighting and holiday celebration

Pigtown Main Street Tree Lighting

What: Annual tree lighting

When: Friday, Dec. 2 at 5:30 p.m, followed by the tree lighting at 6 p.m. at the corner of Barre Street and Washington Boulevard

Annapolis Tuba Christmas Concert

What: Dozens of tubas, sousaphones and euphoniums will come together to perform during the 3rd Annual Tuba Christmas concert in Annapolis.

When: Saturday, Dec. 3, 12:30-1:30 p.m. 

Where: St. Anne's Church, Church Circle in Annapolis. The concert will be indoors at St. Anne's if it is raining or below 34 degrees.

 

 

Fells Point Old Tyme Christmas

What: Festivities include an eggnog contest, breakfast with Santa, a kid zone, beer garden and the annual parade of lighted boats.

The Made In Baltimore Store Grand Opening Party

What: Celebrate the opening of the 4th Made In Baltimore pop-up storefront, featuring exclusively locally-made products.

Havre de Grace Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting

What: The Winter Wonderland Committee presents "Light Up Night." See the annual parade and Christmas Tree Lighting, plus Santa comes to town.

Merriment & Melodies: A Holiday Music Series kick-off

What: Spend a combined $200 at neighborhood retailers the first night of Merriment & Melodies and walk away with a free full-sized Christmas Tree from Whole Foods Market. Other activities include a milk and cookies social, a performance by the Children’s Chorus of Maryland, an appearance by Mrs. Claus, a balloon artist and performers, a street-side holiday bar, complimentary hot chocolate and a House of Ruth Maryland donation drop.

Federal Hill Moonlight Madness

What: An evening of shopping on Federal Hill's Main Street Participating shops and galleries will be open until midnight and offer sales, promotions and giveaways. Then, bring your gifts to the Federal Hill Main Street office for free gift wrapping and snacks.

The Nutcracker at the Baltimore School for the Arts

What: Watch high school and TWIGS dancers perform in this holiday classic. December 9-17.
