Maryland Natural Resources Police and Anne Arundel County Fire crews rescued eight people from a boat fire in Magothy River Sunday afternoon.

Police say the boat is a 28-foot Chris Craft out of Annapolis and the boaters were rescued by Good Sams.

No injuries were reported and the boat is being towed to a nearby marina.
