15 arrested in Queen Anne's Co. drug bust

Fifteen people connected to four separate drug trafficking organizations were arrested in Queen Anne’s County Thursday.

Police say those arrested and charged were distributing heroin, cocaine and prescription pills.

The suspects have been identified as:

Eric Lewis Clark, 42, of Grasonville, MD
Henry Jefferson Gray, 57, Grasonville, MD
Donald Dwight Hughes, 62, of Queenstown, MD
Michael Nathaniel Reives, 43, of Grasonville, MD
Michael Gerald Henderson, 57, of Chester, MD
Kenneth Ellsmore Harris, 60, Chestertown, MD
Apollonia Kateria Ryans, 31, of Grasonville, MD

All fifteen individuals face multiple possession charged with the intent to distribute, which could result in multiple years of imprisonment and thousands of dollars in fines, according to police.

Police seized over $33,500 during the arrests, along with 16 vehicles and six firearms. They also seized a bullet proof vest, more than 530 grams of marijuana, nearly 400 grams of cocaine, 16 grams of heroin and 228 Oxycodone pills.

The Queen Anne's County Drug Task Force began the investigation in January 2016, according to police, after investigators received on several distinct drug trafficking organizations operating in the area. Police say the operations were responsible for importing large amounts of heroin, crack and powder cocaine, marijuana and Oxycodone into the Queen Anne’s County region for more than a decade.
