When you have to write these things you never know what to say because you think of your life as just routine stuff instead of something that people would want to know about.
Well, here goes. I was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio (yes, I just got over that football thing) and went to public schools there.
I first got interested in Journalism when I worked at my high school paper in the tenth grade.
I had a teacher, Ms. Smith, who made it fun and interesting, and I eventually became co-editor in my senior year.
I worked my way through Ohio University with every intention of becoming the next great syndicated newspaper columnist when I made a little detour into TV that has lasted now for almost 20 years.
I have worked in many places. My first real job was in Zanesville, Ohio, and I have anchored and reported in several places including Florence, S.C., Charlotte, N.C., Columbia, S.C., and Cleveland. I have covered stories ranging from Hurricane Hugo, Jim and Tammy Baker, the 1997 World Series, to yes, the Browns moving to Baltimore.
Let's see what else? I'm Married and enjoy road cycling and working on computers.
I also love music but have absolutely no musical talent, so I enjoy listening to all kinds of music, especially P-Funk.
Pretty routine stuff I think, but that's where I am so far. I'm looking forward to living and working in Baltimore and making this area my home.
