ELLICOTT CITY, Md. - Howard County police have identified the man who was found dead in Centennial Lake Sunday, according to a release.
Elkridge man Douglas Robert Morin, 60, was found by a passerby at about 9 a.m. Sunday, police said. Morin's family reported him missing late Sunday evening.
Investigators believe that Morin slipped on ice near the edge of the water and fell in.
Responding officers said he didn't have identification when they pulled him from the lake. Additionally, all cars parked near the lake were accounted for.
No foul play is suspected in Morin's death, according to police.
His body was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for an autopsy.
The park was closed Sunday so officers could conduct a full investigation.
