One woman is dead and another seriously hurt after a two-car crash in Howard County Thursday afternoon.
Police said the crash happened around 5:20 p.m. in the 1300 block of Marriottsville Road when a Chevy Impala traveling north on Marriottsville Road crossed the center line hitting a 2001 Ford Escape driving southbound.
The driver of the Impala was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Escape was taken to Shock Trauma in stable condition.
The names of the drivers will be released after their families are notified.
