A fatal collision involving a motorcycle shut down Vollmerhausen Road in Howard County for several hours Wednesday night.
Police said Phillip Dorsey of Jessup was driving northbound on Vollmerhausen Road when he collided with a Nissan Altima traveling westbound.
Dorsey was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and the passengers of the Altima were not injured.
No charges have been filed as the investigation continues.
