Howard County Board of Education candidates say why they're running for office

Six candidates have thrown their hat in the ring for a seat on the Howard County Board of Education, which has three of seven slots open this year. 

Candidates include incumbent Janet Siddiqui and challengers Christina Delmont-Small, Robert Miller, Vicky Cutroneo, Mavis Ellis and Kirsten Coombs. 

ABC2 reporter Mallory Sofastaii spoke with the candidates about why they are running and why they feel they are qualified.
