Lighthouse Senior Living hosted a grand opening Tuesday.
Howard County Executive Allan Kittleman cut the ribbon at the ceremony introducing 18 new apartments and common areas in the facility.
The celebration continued with an open house event featuring live music and specialties from local Ellicott City businesses including the Wine Bin and Sweet Cascades Chocolatier.
Attendees had the chance to enter to win tickets to the Ravens vs. Steelers game on November 6.
Anyone who reserved an apartment during the evening will receive a $1,000 credit toward the first month's rent as well as other special gifts.
