We found Evan Lutz inside the Howard County Sheriffs Department. He was found handcuffed to a dream of his. And it will play out for you on ABC's Shark Tank this Friday night.
Locally grown, Evan Lutz will do for your kitchen what Kevin Plank did for your closet. His Hungry Harvest business really started at a produce stand in front of the Stamp Student Union at College Park. The business is now located inside a Columbia business that also houses the local Sheriff.
"Started out with 10 then 20 but the time my senior year I had 500 customers," Lutz said.
Hungry Harvest is a different kind of produce delivery. For every bag of food that's deliver, another is donated to a family in need. The company preaches healthy, organic eating while reducing food waste and also giving back to the community.
Hungry Harvest currently delivers throughout the Baltimore and Washington D.C. areas. According to their website, they're opening locations in Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Richmond and New York soon.
Lutz is taking his business to the next level with an appearance on ABC's Shark Tank Friday night.
