Columbia man convicted of murder to be retried

COLUMBIA, Md. - On Monday, a Columbia man convicted of murder will head back to court for another trial.

Antajuan Wilson was sent to prison 4 years ago for shooting a man, but the state's highest court wants him to be retried.

The Court of Appeals wants a retrial because it ruled the jury was never properly instructed during the original trial.

Wilson was convicted of murdering Bryan Adams 4 years ago outside the Wilde Lake Village Center after the two got into an argument.

But the state court of appeals reversed that conviction last year ruling the instructions the jury got were insufficient.

The retrial is scheduled for Monday, jury selection will begin at Howard County Circuit Court.

The trial could take up to two weeks.

Wilson has remained in prison.
