Hundreds of Howard County residents are getting in the holiday spirit Tuesday night.
It's the annual Christmas in the Park tree lighting ceremony in Centennial Park South.
Families can take pictures with Santa, enjoy refreshments and hear some Christmas carols.
The event starts at 6 p.m. with the county's Christmas tree lighting up an hour later.
