An 18-year-old man from Philadelphia was one of two pedestrians killed Saturday in a car crash in Jessup.

Howard County Police identified the second victim as Chawn Lamar Bryant on Monday, after a family member contacted the department. The other pedestrian, Delcy Martinez Hernandez, 18, of Elkridge, was identified earlier.

Both were pronounced dead after being taken to Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

The accident happened around 11:14 p.m., when a 2002 Honda Civic was traveling southbound on Washington Boulevard near Port Capital Drive when it hit Bryant and Hernandez, who were on the ground in the road. A witness said they were in a physical fight in the travel portion of the roadway.

The driver of the Honda, Zachary Jordan Tillett, 22 of Elkridge, and passenger, Rachel Elisabeth Aymold, 20, of Catonsville were not injured. No charges have been filed.

An investigation is ongoing.
