The roof of a Safeway in Bel Air has partially collapsed due to the snow.

Rich Gardiner of Harford County Fire said that crews responded to the Safeway at Greenbrier Drive in Bel Air at 3:30 p.m. Saturday.

Crews are working to secure the structure and turn off all building utilities. The building has been inspected and no on is inside. No injuries have been reported at this time.

Gardiner said that the weight of accumulating snow on many structures is of concern. This area is not accustomed to large amounts of snowfall and some buildings might not be able to handle the weight.

He also said that the roads in Harford County are treacherous, which is making it more difficult for crews to secure the building.
