ABERDEEN, Md. - Train service was suspended for hours after Amtrak officials say one of their trains hit and killed someone in Aberdeen.
Harford County Fire and EMS reported the pedestrian was struck on tracks along Route 40 near the WaWa Food Market.
An Amtrak spokesperson says the incident happened around 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Three hundred passengers were on Amtrak Train 168 at the crash. No passengers or crew members reported any injuries.
ABC2 News crews on the scene reported that passengers aboard the train appeared to be calm.
The train was delayed for about two hours and is now moving again.
