BEL AIR, Md. (WMAR) -
Members from the Mobile Crime Prevention Outreach Office of Harford County met with the public at the Greenbrier Shopping Center in Bel Air Thursday evening to discuss how people can protect themselves.
Deputies were on-hand to provide information on topics such as Neighborhood Watch programs, crime reports, and Project Child Safe.
This outreach program was setup just days after two armed robberies occurred last week in the vicinity of the Greenbrier Shopping Center.
According to the Harford County Sheriff's office, on March 20, a man robbed a Subway at gunpoint.
Not 12 hours later, officials believe the same man robbed a Royal Farms nearby on Churchville Road.
A third robbery, which occurred at an adult store on Route 40 in Havre de Grace last Friday, is believed to be related, according to officials.
