House of Cards to film in Harford County, shut down part of Main Street

Part of Main Street in Bel Air will be shut down beginning Friday afternoon for the filming of the popular Netflix drama House of Cards.

The announcement from Knight Takes King Productions, the company that produces the show, posted the news on the Town of Bel Air's website

Filming will begin around 4 p.m. Friday, and finish about 2 a.m. Saturday. 

Road closures will occur on South Main Street between Churchville Road and Courtland Street from 7:30 p.m. Friday to 12:15 a.m. Saturday. No parking, driving or pedestrian traffic will be allowed. 

There will be other parking restrictions at the Hickory Avenue Town parking lot, the parking garage and the Harford County parking lot at the corner of Churchville Road and South Main Street.

House of Cards has filmed in several locations in Harford County over the past few months.
