The small town of Churchville in Harford County turned into the backdrop for the popular House of Cards series Monday.
Replicas of presidential motorcades sat near a empty gas station, created by hundreds of crew members.
The popular Netflix series has garnered millions of fans, mostly because of its two dueling mains, Frank and Claire Underwood; the president and first lady of The United States.
Onlookers and fans said the state of politics is sometimes stranger than fiction these days.
"It's never going to be nothing but drama until we come at peace and stuff like that. As far as I'm concerned, if we all work together, we have good relationships with each other, things will work out just fine," Alexander Brock said.
ABC2 caught a glimpse of Robin Wright-Penn who plays the first lady on the politically charged show, but this election's cycle fight may well rival the Underwoods.
"Hillary don't like Donald Trump and that's really not going to get us anywhere. What's fighting going to do ? It's going to do nothing but leave bruises, marks and cuts," Brock said.
Political pundits say nothing about the Republican National Convention was conventional at all, and voters are passionate about who they want in office.

"Right now the Democrats have their hands full, it's a little out of control I think some people should step down," Daniel Scianimanaico said.
As the Democratic National Convention gets underway, many believe politics now is more like what you'd see on Netflix.
"I think it's become a show where you're going to get a lot of viewers and people tuning in to see the show," Scianimanaico said.
The RNC wrapped up last week in Cleveland, the Democratic National Convention runs through Thursday in Philadelphia.
