When little Dominic Osorio went on his Make-A-Wish trip to Disney World, it poured down rain. Most people would complain. Not Dominic.
He exclaimed, "The won't rain won't stop our fun!"
Dominic maintained that same positive attitude as he courageously fought the biggest battle of his life -- brain cancer. The Bel Air native pretended to be "The Dominator," a superhero persona that he used to help ease the strains of treatment.
Unfortunately, Dominic's fight ended two years after his diagnosis. He earned his angel wings at just seven years old.
Dominic is one of 250,000 children diagnosed every year with cancer.

His mother, Nikki Stagnoli, wants to do everything in her power to prevent any other parent from living this nightmare. She created the D.O. Believe Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness and funding for children's cancer.
There is a critical need for funding research. Only 4 percent of the federal government's cancer research funding goes to children.
The D.O. Believe Foundation is making Dominic proud. So far, it has raised $93,000 and hopes to break the $100,000 mark at this weekend's Dominator 5K and 10K Run and 1-Mile Walk. The event takes place Saturday, Sept. 24 at Blue Dot in Forest Hill.
It is held every September in honor of Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month, as well as Dominic's birthday. Dominic would have been 14 years old this year.
