Mason Howell of Harford County is fighting childhood cancer for the second time in his young 11-year-old life.

The North Harford Middle School student was first diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in 2007, at just three years old.

Mason completed treatments and was cancer free for five years.

That all changed the day after Christmas when Mason ran a low-grade fever.

Further testing at Johns Hopkins revealed that cancer had returned.

The Harford County community is now rallying behind the Howell family to help with medical expenses.

Buon Gusto Pizzeria and Grill in Whiteford will donate 10 percent of all food purchases on Wednesday, Feb. 10 to the Fill the 'Mason' Jar campaign.

The restaurant will also raffle off tickets to see "Death of a Salesman" and "A Streetcar Named Desire" at Everyman Theatre in Baltimore.

Donations can be made directly to the Fill the 'Mason' Jar Go Fund Me page: gofundme.com/nq2wtan8
