A Harford County family is pleading to police and the community to help find Whitney Murphy, who's been missing since May 25.

Murphy was last seen at The Riverside Tollgate apartment complex where she lives. Neighbors told her father, Darrun Murphy, that they saw her walking around the area.

"I'm willing to give my life for my daughter that's how much I love her and want her back," he said.

"My fear is that we're not going to see Whitney again," said Whitney's aunt, Trishell Murphy.

Murphy suffers from schizophrenia and has likely been off of her medication for almost two weeks.

"If somebody has my daughter, please return her back to me," Darrun said.

Harford County Sheriffs are investigating Murphy's disappearance, but her father says something is just not right.

"She was last seen coming out of her residence neighbors said they spotted Whitney around 3 o'clock," Darrun said.

But after that, Whitney was nowhere to be found.

"She left the residence without her keys to the residence, without a bank card, without a cell phone," he said.

Not typical behavior for the mother of a 6-year-old son according to her family who's now fearing the worst.

"In my opinion, someone has my daughter or someone possibly knows the whereabouts of my daughter and we just want her to come back home," said Murphy.

The Murphys are offering a reward in the hopes that someone can help crack this case and bring comfort to them.

"I'm a former military person, our motto is leave no fallen soldier behind but to be honest I feel like I failed as a father because I left my daughter behind and I'm not going to be able to find her," Murphy said.

The family is planning its own searches. Anyone with information on Murphy's whereabouts is asked to call the Harford County Sheriff's Office.
