Firefighter hurt in fall fighting fire

BEL AIR, Md. - A firefighter is recovering after falling while fighting a fire in Bel Air on Wednesday morning.

The fire happened in the 900 block of Pentwood Court in Bel Air.  It started just before 2 am.

According to officials, the fire severely damaged two townhomes, and crews were able to get the fire under control in about 30 minutes.

During the fire, a firefighter fell from the second floor to the first floor in one of the homes.  Medics took the firefighter to a local trauma center.  Another was treated for heat related issues at the scene.  There is no word on how either is doing.
