A Harford County man is missing his wedding ring.

Josh Hackett was at the Home Depot in Aberdeen buying wood when he lost the ring. He knew he still had it when he got there because his fingers shrink in the cold and the ring was still on.

The ring is made out of 5000-year-old bog Oakwood from Ireland. It's a tradition in Ireland for fathers to give their sons an Irish penny for their weddings. Hackett's father died before he could tie the knot, so his family put his father's ashes in the ring with an Irish penny inside.

Home Depot is on the look out for the special keepsake, but the family wants you to keep an eye out as well.

If you find the ring, call the ABC2 newsroom at 410-377-2246.
