A shooting that killed two deputies in Harford County rocked the community. Both of them were military veterans, and now the families of both men are hoping to keep their memories alive.

A new post of the American Legion opened Saturday, with a new name: the Patrick Dailey and Mark Logsdon Memorial Post.

Nine months ago, Harford Sheriff Senior Deputy Patrick Dailey was shot and killed at a Panera Bread in Abingdon. Deputy First Class Mark Logsdon lost his life pursuing the gunmen.

"Ceremonies such as this today, it does take me back," said Jennifer Logsdon, Mark Logsdon's widow. "It takes me back to that day and it is difficult."

The Daileys and the Logsdons sat next to each other at the ceremony on Saturday, remembering their lost loved ones.
