The executive chef at Laurrapin Grille in Havre de Grace is scheduled to appear on this week’s episode of the Food Network’s cooking competition, “Chopped.”
Chef Kristina Sciarra will battle three chefs to create a three-course meal in just 30 minutes, using only a basket filled with mystery ingredients.
The episode, titled “Smorgastarta Your Engines,” airs Thursday, Oct. 13 at 9 p.m. and challenges the chefs to “learn all about the wonders of savory Swedish layer cake,” according to the show’s website.
Laurrapin Grille plans to host a viewing party Thursday night at 8 p.m. featuring dishes recreated from the show.
