BEL AIR, Md. - UPDATE: One woman is dead and two others are recovering after a crash in Bel Air Wednesday morning. Police say Consquella Frieswyk has died of her injuries.

Three people were sent to a local hospital after a crash in Bel Air Wednesday morning.

The crash happened on Route 24 and Wheel Road West at about 8:15 a.m.

Officials say the two-vehicle crash involved a Hyundai Santa Fe that was traveling southbound on Wheel Road and a Subaru Outback traveling in the other direction on Route 24.

Both vehicles left the road and ended up in the median ditch. Both the driver and passenger in the Santa Fe were taken to Upper Chesapeake with non-life threatening injuries.
