BEL AIR, Md. - Mom calls him an angel and tells him to go be the light. We follow the light of 8-year-old Ashton Dean who is "2 Good 2 Be True."
Ashton's veins and arteries are forced to take a side road to his heart, but there is nothing wrong with his soul. He says today he is. "Happy."
Happy because everywhere he looks he sees signs. Miracles, faith, believe. Recently he talked with God, who told him what he'll be. "A Dad, a Pastor, and a teacher."
His Ravens are his best friends, and THE best friend is Ray Rice. Ashton is always smiling, and showing us the light.
Saturday, Ashton wants to give back by holding a Day of Giving. There will be a blood drive, a pillow case drive, and a canned food drive at St. Matthews Lutheran Church in Bel Air. It will start at 8:30 a.m. Everyone needs an angel and tonight we saw the light from one.
