EDGEWOOD, Md. - A 32-year-old man from Edgewood is facing charges after robbing the Edgewood Royal Farms Store Tuesday.
Police were told that the suspect entered the store, asked to use his debit card for cash, and then pulled a handgun from his pants and demanded money from the clerk.
The clerk handed over some money, and then the suspect left.
The store manager saw the whole thing and called 911.
Police quickly caught up with and arrested the suspect, Jamal Nathaniel Jackson.
Jamal Nathaniel Jackson, of 704 Rainbow Ct. has been charged with robbery with a deadly weapon, first and second degree assault, theft, and making a false statement about his role in the robbery say police.
Jackson was taken to the Harford County Detention Center in lieu of a $175,000 bond.
