A 45-year-old motorcyclist died Saturday after being involved in a three-vehicle crash, according to Maryland State Police.
Eddie Lee Mitzel was traveling south on US route 1 near Robertson Road where he struck a Honda CR-V that was making a left turn into a private driveway. Mitzel was ejected from his Harley Davidson motorcycle into the northbound lane of US route 1 where he was ran over by a Dodge Ram.
Mitzel was wearing his helmet but was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing, no charges have been filed at the time.
