Reward offered for missing service dog

TILGHMAN ISLAND, Md. (WMAR) -- A service dog who is used to helping others, now needs your help to return home.

Abby, a therapy and companion dog who assists Operation Second Chance, a non-profit company that helps wounded, injured and ill soldiers and Marines, has been missing since July 4, and now needs your help to find her way home.

Abby is a 17-month-old female Rottweiler weighing about 85 pounds and has special needs. She is a little clumsy because she has double vision.

On July 4, Abby became frightened and ran away from her home on Tilghman Island, but could be anywhere.

Abby's owner, Cindy McGrew, is offering a $1,000 reward for her safe return, no questions asked. Anyone with any information is asked to call Cindy at 301-938-2834.
