Not the best day at the beach. Remnants of Jose brought wind and rain to Ocean City.

Waves crashed on the inlet jetty. It was closed to prepare for SunFest. It is one of Ocean City's biggest festivals.

Mayor Rick Meehan says his town is well prepared for storms.

"We have our emergency plan that we follow. We’re not even turning the page on that, on this particular event. Public works does what they always do, secures things just in case. What we are seeing mostly is heavy surf. We’re not seeing a lot of heavy rains or surge bay side."

The Mayor is hopeful the weather will be nice this weekend for SunFest. It's happening September 21 - 24.
