OCEAN CITY, Md. - Some people living in Ocean City are not happy about all of the rowdy guests coming to their town.
But the decision about changing rental requirements won't be made until at least after Labor Day.
Officials will meet again to discuss a possible ban on housing rentals in the beach town; this is because of some problems in neighborhoods where mostly locals live.
A standing-room only meeting was held last night to talk about it. People living there have complained about noise and just overall bad behavior.
Those who rent homes in those neighborhoods, say a ban could hurt their bottom line. Other critics of the proposal say an ordinance to stop rentals could hurt ocean city's tourism industry.
