Hermine is moving up the coast making the unofficial last weekend of summer a dangerous one for beach goers in Maryland.

The storm is likely to cause high surf and rip currents and possibly some beach erosion in Ocean City. The conditions, which could extend into Tuesday or even mid-week, are considered dangerous even for experienced swimmers.

A tropical storm watch was issued for Worcester County on Friday. Several inches of rain are expected with the system.

Ocean City emergency officials will be meeting all weekend giving out updates as needed, but as of Friday evening, they weren't telling vacationers to stay away entirely.
