Eastern Shore boaters get ready for Hurricane Sandy

Boaters raced to marinas today, making sure everything was tied down ahead of the storm.

Bob Wilson is the manager of Mears Point Marina.  Wilson and his staff spent Sunday securing the last few boats.

He says, "With sustained winds of 40 and 50 miles per hour, you have to worry about any small items that are around.  We don't need any missals flying around."

Wilson says the danger from this storm could continue for awhile.  With the storm expected to hit Pennsylvania and New York, there will be a lot of runoff draining into the bay.
