A 4-year-old boy fell from a third story window onto a parked car in Elkton Sunday night.
Cecil County sheriff’s deputies and investigators responded to the unit block of Caribou Court just before 11 a.m.
An initial investigation revealed the boy fell from a bedroom window onto a car parked in front of the home. The boy’s parent located him outside the residence and called 911.
Investigators believe the boy may have been looking out of the window when the screen popped out, causing him to fall.
The boy was conscious and alert, according to police, and was taken to A.I. Dupont Hospital in Wilmington, Del.
He’s currently being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The incident is still under investigation.
