1 dead after Cecil County crash

ELKTON - One man is dead after an evening crash in Elkton Monday.

Around 5:52 p.m. Maryland State Police were called to the area of Telegraph and Blue Ball roads.

When they arrived they found James Faultz of Wilmington, Delaware suffering from serious, state police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police learned Faultz was driving a 1999 Ford Tauras southbound at the time of the crash when he tried to turn left onto Telegraph Road without yielding, according to state police.

A 2004 International tow truck driven by Gurseak Sigh was headed westbound on Telegraph Road at the time of the crash and was unable to avoid the turning car, state police said.
