SYKESVILLE, Md. (WMAR) -
The Sykesville Police Department is asking for your help to find the man who approached an 11-year-old girl earlier this month.
Police released a composite sketch of the man who approached the girl on Tuesday, March 12 at about 7:00 p.m. at the intersection of Bradenburg Circle and Norris Avenue.
The man offered the girl a ride and stated he was sent by her parents to pick her up. The girl ran away and told her parents who notified police.
The vehicle the man was driving was described only as a dark color.

Police are working with the schools in the area to make everyone aware of the incident and ask parents to speak to their children about Stranger Danger.
