SYKESVILLE, Md. - Nathan Baker loved nothing more than having fun on a playground.
Now the 5-year-old's memory will live on in the thing he enjoyed the most. Tomorrow, a dedication ceremony is taking place for a new playground at Mechanicsville Elementary School in Carroll County.
It's named after Baker, who drowned in Sept. 2012 while on a family vacation. Baker's family helped raise money for the playground, which cost $75,000. That assistance came in part from donations the family asked be made to the cause in lieu of flowesr following their son's death.
The Baker family has also launched the Nathan Chris Baker Foundation to help other schools in the area. For more information about the foundation click here .
