York Road in northern Baltimore County opened again Sunday afternoon after a water main break lead to part of the road being closed to traffic for almost a full week.

York Road was closed between McCormick Road and Phoenix Road in Cockeysville, diverting traffic to I-83.
A 20-inch water main had to be repaired by the Baltimore Department of Public Works, and then the road had to be reconstructed, repaved and repainted.
