Once a fire company with a few volunteers, it's now grown to more than 200 members with 3,600 calls a year. Now, the fire company is getting a building to meet that growth.

The new station is being built on land donated by General Motors Baltimore Operations and will be located at 10301 Philadelphia Road in White Marsh once complete.

. The current station, located on Ebenezer Road, is more than 65 years old.

The new station will have individual bunks and showers for each volunteer, an indoor training facility, gym, kitchen and study areas as well as a community center.
