Temperatures are expected to warm up some on Wednesday - but while the sub-zero conditions are for now at least, a thing of the past, Baltimore still isn't expected to get above freezing.
County officials have opened four warming centers for those who need a free and safe place to escape the cold.
The four emergency shelters are:
• Eastside Family Shelter (men, women and children) 9100 Franklin Square Drive, Baltimore, MD 21237
• Hannah More Shelter (women and children) 12041 Reisterstown Road, Reisterstown, MD 21136
• Night of Peace Overnight Shelter (families) 7509 Windsor Mill Road, Windsor Mill, MD 21244
• Westside Men's Shelter 55 Wade Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21228
All of the shelters will be open until 7:00 a.m. Wednesday. They'll close during the day, then reopen at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, and will be open until 7:00 a.m. Thursday.
