Water main break leaves hundreds without water

Milford Mill Academy School also affected

MILFORD MILL, Md. (WMAR) - Two-hundred sixty homes and a Baltimore County school are without water Thursday night because of a 12-inch water main break on Thursday.

The Department of Public Works says that the break happened around 2:00 in the afternoon, but the water wasn't shut off until the evening hours.

The homes that are without power tonight are along Scotts Hill Road in Milford Mill.

Milford Mill Academy School is also without water, but the school system has not determined if school will be closed Friday morning.

The break occurred at Scotts Level Road and Milford Mill Road.
