Towson University offering travel packages for FCS championship game

TOWSON, Md. - Towson University is offering travel packages to those seeking to make the trip to see the Tigers face North Dakota State in the program's first appearance in the FCS Championship game, set for 2 p.m. Jan. 4 at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas.

In addition, Towson reports that the school has blocked off rooms reserved at the Courtyard Dallas Allen at John Q. Hammons Center in Allen, Texas, located approximately 10 to 15 minutes from Frisco.

You can also call the hotel at 800-627-7468 or 214-383-1151 to make your reservation or click here to book your rate . According to Towson, you will need to indicate that you would to reserve a room in "Towson Football Fans" block or use the reservation code "TFF."

Rates are $119 for single or double occupancy in rooms with a king-size bed and $129 for up to four individuals in room with two queen beds plus applicable state and local taxes.

The cut-off date for reservations is Jan. 1. Any unreserved rooms will be released after that date.

In addition, the Towson University Alumni Association will host a pre-game hospitality celebration in Tailgate Town, adjacent to Toyota Stadium prior to kickoff.  The cost is $20 and includes food and a cash bar.  All alumni, fans, parents and donors are invited to attend the reception.   Pre-registration is required.
