Nearly half of central Baltimore County's elementary schools are above enrollment capacity, according to an annual report released by the school district.
Of the area's 23 elementary schools, 12 are over capacity. Padonia International Elementary is the most overcrowded, listed at 153.38 percent capacity. Oakleigh Elementary and Pleasant Plains Elementary are each over 119 percent capacity.

Two middle schools in the area are also over capacity - Ridgely Middle is at 115.23 percent and Dumbarton Middle is at 102.78 percent. Towson High School's enrollment was also over capacity, at 119.76 percent according to the report.
