The Coast Guard has suspended the search for a missing boater feared lost in an area about two miles south of the Francis Scott Key Bridge.
The search for David Frantzen began Monday morning after the boat he was on was discovered abandoned at Sparrows Point.
In the boat, rescue crews located a purse identifying a deceased female and a wallet belong to 40-year-old Frantzen.
The Coast Guard said the deceased woman and Frantzen departed on the boat Sunday between 10 a.m. and noon.
Coast Guard watchstanders issued an urgent marine information broadcast and launched a crew on a response boat to search for Frantzen.
The Coast Guard searched for approximately 11 hours, covering 175 miles.
The woman's identity has not been released.
