Search for elderly Pikesville woman continues

PIKESVILLE - The search for an 88-year-old woman is ongoing days after she went missing from the Pikesville area.

Irene Kuperstein went for a walk near the Reisterstown Road Shopping Center around 5 p.m. Saturday and never returned.

The elderly woman, who police say has difficulty hearing and speaks only Polish, was spotted on surveillance video leaving the Giant grocery store in the 6600 block of Reisterstown Road around 9:21 p.m. that night.

She appeared unharmed in the video, but she has not been seen since.

She is described as 5’ 2” tall and 80 pounds with brown eyes and gray hair worn in a ponytail.

Kuperstein, who lives in the 6900 block of Marsue Drive,  was last seen wearing a beige and purple windbreaker over a white blouse with an orange and green pattern, dark sweatpants, gray socks and blue sneakers.
