Sagamore Farm suffers two-alarm fire

The firefighters quelled a two-alarm fire early Tuesday morning at Sagamore Farm, the horse farm owned by Under Armour CEO Kevin Plank, according to Baltimore County Fire Department officials.

There were initial fears that horses may have been in the barn that caught fire, however firefighters reported that there were no injuries.

"Our newly constructed employee quarters suffered significant fire damage. Thankfully, nobody was yet in residence and nobody was hurt. The exact cause of the fire is yet to be determined,” Sagamore Farm General Manager Tom Mullikin said.

Mullikin said Sagamore Farm is planning to rebuild the damaged building.

Firefighters were dispatched to the 3500 block of Belmont Ave. in Glyndon at about 12:30 a.m.
