11:02 AM, Oct 21, 2013
DUNDALK, Md. - U.S. Rep. C.A. Dutch Ruppersberger on Monday will host a workshop for constituents who need assistance securing financial aid for college.
"College is Possible: Tips on How to Get in and How to Pay for It," will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. at the North Point Library meeting room, located at 1716 Merritt Blvd. in Dundalk. The event will feature financial aid experts to help students and parents learn about ways to make the dream of going to college a reality. The event is open to all Second District residents.
"Expanding access to college will strengthen our economy and create a pipeline of jobs for the future," said Ruppersberger in a statement. "Unfortunately, the cost of tuition continues to rise, but help is available. Every child can have the opportunity to go to college."
