A tire store on Pulaski Highway is a total loss after flames took over the business. While fire officials investigate the cause, a nearby shop owner is investigating the damage the fire did to his own business.

Norberto Perez owns B and G Auto, which is the business across the street from the tire shop. Perez has spent the last two years building it up by hand. He's put thousands of dollars and countless hours into detailing cars and delivering for customers.

On Wednesday, he was finally finished with a Honda that he spent 10 days on and put $3,000 into, but smoke plumes from the fire destroyed the fresh coat of paint.

"I try and remove it, but it's not coming," Perez said. "I try and remove it, and it's deep into the paint."

That's not the only car that the smoke plumes destroyed. It's all over his lot.

Now the Cuban immigrant wants to know how much the damage will cost. He's worried he might not make it another year in his shop because returning things back to normal will take a lot of time and money.
